Overview
filingWatch is an analytic view of the carrier rate filings found in xRate. It is fully powered by our MCP, serving as a small example of its end-user capabilities, and provides a more visual way to interact with the rate filings and see their impact. You'll find a national overview here - https://www.insurancexdate.com/filingwatch/

This provides a state-level aggregation of all rate filings across the primary lines of commercial insurance for a given range of time (trailing 1 to 12 months), a given reach (e.g. how many policyholders are affected by the filing) and can also be filtered by carrier group for a national snapshot. You'll also find a state breakdown by line of coverage below. Clicking on any data point for a given state will open up the state-level studio.
State-level adds filtering for line of coverage, movement (inc/dec) and status (approved, denied).
State-Level is fully interactive. Click on any data point to view filing details.

Advisory-Org Rate Changes

This is the tide that raises (or lowers) all ships. These are the foundational rates that most carriers base their rating formulas on, so if a change happens here it is going to have a market-wide impact. When you're renewal comes in 15% higher and the underwriter is telling you they're maxed out on credit, this is why. Keep in mind carriers have to file to adopt these rates, so it could be your signal to market an upcoming renewal. Or you can just hope your competition is dealing with the same problems.
Premium Market Map

This and most other charts are different ways of viewing the data and finding something relevant to your current opportunities, or to find new prospect segments to target. Here we're sizing the box by premium affected and color-coded by level of change. Hovering reveals a tool-tip summary of the filing. Click on it for more details in a sidebar (below).

Max and Min Premium Change
This should be the overall underwriting discretion a given underwriter has to price an account. Note that while Travelers has a slightly higher overall approved rate change, they have also allotted for more discounting authority relative to Utica. So in theory more competitive if they choose to be.
The relevance of this information cannot be understated. When your underwriter is delivering 15% increases and telling you there is nothing they can do, you just might have something to push back with, for example.
