The Research tab provides a brief narrative on the company as well as coverage considerations based on those operations. It is bespoke to the business. For example, it may note the insured specializes in telecommunications for correctional facilities and has faced numerous class-action lawsuits. Or that a manufacturer has an 88,000 sq. ft. facility that is ISO 9001 certified, specializing in high volume OEM production.

For a while it has been helping us in peripheral (mostly coding and operations), limited ways. But now it really is getting better. Good enough that we are now applying it to validate and obtain company contact information such as web addresses, phone numbers and contact personnel. It is near flawless at industry categorization (reported class/NAICS codes not overridden).
